More Pictures

Since we had free internet we decided that we should add more photos for everyone to see considering these are probably the only photos that we will upload until we get back to the states hope you enjoy!! The frist six photos are from today and our tour of the Cape of Good Hope and the last few are form last weekend and our adventure to the Garden Route.

We saw a seal during our cape point tour that had been trained and for the past 20 or so years has been coming ashore and posing for pictures with people while its owner feeds him breakfast.

This is a picturesque photo taken on our hike to the light house out at cape point.

This is a picture of a penguin... in case you could not tell. While on our tour of the cape of good hope we stopped at this place where we saw lots of penguins and they were really cute. There are other photos of them. Also since they are endangered they have made special nest for them to lay their eggs so birds and other prey animals will not eat their young. At Cape Point after we hiked like 20 minutes to get out to the lighthouse, there was this sign that said the distance to different places in the world. Strangely enough New York and Sydney were almost the same distance away but of course in different directions.

This is Me (Mary Emily) riding an ostrich at the farm while we were driving on route 62. it was really cool and exciting!!!!

Now this is Martha riding the Ostrich!!!

This is the red-skinned Ostrich that was at the ostrich farm in Otshorn, South Africa. We went to the farm during our weekend adventure to the garden route when we decieded to go back on route 62.

The lighthouse at Cape St. Francis- the end of the Garden Route! This is very close to where we stayed the night on our first weekend adventure with the Mom, Dad and Audrey.

A bench overlooking the Indian Ocean just after we all put our toes in for the first time!!! (It was just like the Zac Brown band song....)
The main street in Robertson...this is where we go shopping at the Spar (which is a grocery store). It is difficult to see, but there is a sign across this road that says that Robertson was the cleanest town in 2009. We aren't sure who they are being compared to (the world, South Africa, every city in a ten mile radius???) but we are extremely proud nonetheless.

P.S. We saw the queen of Spain tonight...she was in the same restaurant as us, and our waiter told us that she had just come in. I think that that is probably a good omen for Spain tomorrow in the finals, so I'll be rooting for them!
